Job Description
The Youth Ministry Director is responsible for overseeing the entire youth ministry at The Well Church. The director will ensure a smooth operating, safe, and effective program by recruiting and training leaders to impact youth lives with God’s love, teach them God’s word, and provide fellowship with God’s people- laying a foundation that will keep youth interested in the things of God and involved in church. The Youth Ministry Director will use our “invite, inspire, and equip” ministry methodology as a roadmap to help with teaching, events, training, etc.
Weekly/ Monthly Commitments:
● Manage Volunteer Schedules
● Recruit/ Train Volunteers
● Lead/ Be Present on Sunday Mornings
Prepare lessons for volunteers to execute on Sunday Mornings
● Plan and organize activities/ events
● Weekly/ Monthly email Communication with parents and volunteers
● Monthly check-in with Directional Lead
● Purchase/Organize curriculum
● Help plan and develop ministry year cycle, manage yearly budget
Prerequisites for Hire
Experience with Youth
Experience leading people
Experience managing projects/ budgets, etc.
Experience working with a team
Attend Well 101 Class (If not already)
Agree with our mission/ vision and beliefs
Understand the culture of The Well
